This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website (faxend.com) and our iOS mobile application (collectively, the "Service").

By using Faxend, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and password when you create an account.
• Transaction Data: Recipient fax number, date and time of transmission, number of pages sent, and delivery status.
• Payment Information: Processed securely through third-party payment processors (e.g., Apple In-App Purchase, Stripe). We do not store your credit card details.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic purposes.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics to improve our Service, such as feature usage and error reports.

3. Fax Content — Zero Storage Policy

Faxend does not store, retain, or archive the content of your faxed documents.

When you upload a document and initiate a transmission, the file is processed in real-time through our secure pipeline and transmitted to the recipient via our third-party fax delivery partner, Sinch (sinch.com). Once the transmission is complete (whether successful or failed), the document content is immediately and permanently deleted from our systems.

We retain only transmission metadata (recipient number, timestamp, page count, and delivery status) for your activity history and receipt records. No document content is ever stored, cached, or backed up on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Faxend:

• Sinch (sinch.com): Fax transmission API provider. Sinch processes your documents solely for the purpose of delivering faxes and is subject to their own privacy policy.
• Apple (App Store): For iOS app distribution and in-app purchases.
• Firebase (Google): For authentication, analytics, and cloud infrastructure.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party providers.

5. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To process and complete fax transmissions.
• To send you transaction confirmations and delivery receipts.
• To provide customer support.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To improve and optimize the Service.

6. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security measures, including AES-256 encryption for documents in transit, TLS/SSL for all network communications, and secure cloud infrastructure. While no system is 100% secure, we take every reasonable precaution to protect your data.

7. Data Retention

Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Transmission metadata (logs) is retained for up to 90 days. Document content is never retained — it is deleted immediately after transmission.

8. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may also request a copy of all data we hold about you. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Faxend is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
